Cruefest '08 and played the Live Nation/Music First/Weekender stage, opening up
the day. Killer.

In early May of this year, we parted ways with Zhach, and after a 3 year
stint with Fighting Zero, we wish him luck. We found drummer/precussionist,
Steve Berlen, to be a great fit for the band and we're excited about what the
future holds.
Steve's experience and playing speaks for itself. His past work
includes playing with: Spitshine, Postal, The Five Percent, and has even
toured Equador and Panama in a jazz ensemble. Steve has also been voted
2nd in Guitar Center's Drum-Off Competition 2007 Regionals and also
"Best Drummer in Lehigh Valley for 2007". Might I also add, he
was the
first drummer to lay down the initial drum tracks for this very band in
it's early stages in the Winter 2004. Please welcome him into the
Fighting Zero family... He's an incredible drummer and individual.
We haven't skipped a beat. In fact, things are crazier than ever, and
we have some GREAT surprises for all of you. We've put our heart into
them and hope you enjoy them as much as we think you will.
We hit the streets again in August, and have a new flavor you'll savor.
Did we mention that we'll be playing with Motley Crue, Buckcherry, Papa Roach,
Sixx AM, and Trapt this summer?? Check our calendar, and hope to see

Thank you to everyone that has come out for the past shows. The Gallery of
Sound gig on 4/19 was awesome... Saw some faces we've seen and never seen
before, and tried to thrash it as hard as we could right in the front of the
store behind the "Comedy" section. It makes for a great
time! Concert for a Cause 6? What can I say!!! It was a blast
and a half!!! Everyone that was there made a difference in people's lives,
and that's what seriously counts.
Tons of people, friends, bands, etc. Awesome awesome time! Thank you
goes to Alan Stout, The Weekender, The Woodlands, and the rest of the sponsors
that made it all possible, but especially YOU.

We've been busy working on the new material for the album, and it doesn't look

FIGHTING ZERO STARTING PRE-PRODUCTION FOR FULL-LENGTH ALBUM We
have some news that we're very excited to share with everyone. If you've
been following our calendar, you will have noticed that there were less shows
over the past few weeks, including 2 cancellations. They were due to
situations beyond our control, and we're upset we didn't get to play those
dates.
Everything is fine here in the FZ camp, and couldn't be
better. On with the announcement: We're super stoked to announce
that we've officially begun our pre-production work on a full-length album.
That's right; we're putting out a full-length, and we can't wait.
We've
done some writing already, and if what we have done so far is any
foreshadowing of what the album is going to be like, hold onto your pants.
Now, obviously, if you know us, we can't give away all of the secrets
as of yet. We have plenty of tricks up our sleeves... With how
intense we will be focusing on what we're doing, you might see the
shows be a little sporadic. It will all be worth it, though.
Don't fret, however, because we'll be giving updates, videos, pictures, and
blogs throughout the entire process.
BUT,
we wanted to reach out to everyone and let you know what was up. Feel free
to drop us a line. We, as always, cannot possibly express what you, our
families, friends and fans, mean to us and hope all is well. Without you,
we wouldn't be here.

FIGHTING ZERO ADDS JAMES LONGO
We'd like to welcome James Longo as
our newest member! James will be taking over Derek's spot as lead
guitarist. Some of you might have already seen him out with us
playing. One of his very first shows was playing with us to an
unbelievable crowd at Tink's, opening up for Flyleaf. Kick ass! As
for Derek, we wish him all of the luck in the world. He's decided to step
out of the music scene for a while, but I'm sure we'll be seeing him pop up
again and we'll be looking forward to it! James has already fit in nicely,
and is bringing a new angle to band. It's an interesting time here right
now, and we've been talking about some things that we'd like to do in the very
near future...... we'll keep you updated on that... ;-) Until we let that
pissed kitten out of the bag, give James a yell and welcome him into the band!!!

This August, we will be entering into the studio with Grammy-Award-Winning and
Multi-platinum album Producer, Sylvia Massy
Shivy. She has done extraordinary work in the industry and produced bands
such
as Tool, System of a Down, Powerman 5000, Sevendust, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and
Johnny Cash, to name a few. Sylvia's extreme attention to detail and
highly regarded resume drew us to her to produce our debut EP, tentatively
slated for release Fall of 2006. (We'll keep everyone posted on the
release date, no doubt. ...And for
you Aussies out there, she also produced COG!) Recording with Sylvia in
her state-of-the art Vaudeville era theater/studio in Northern California is
exciting for all of us and is an unbelievable opportunity to work with one of
the BEST in the industry. Thank you for your continued support and love.

The response from everybody at The Staircase this past Tuesday was
OVERWHELMING! A giant thanks to all who came out to support our local

Just keeping everybody up-to-date with what's been happening in the FZ
camp. The new lineup of Fighting Zero will be announced shortly!!!
So, keep your ears peeled for that. Also, we're in pre-production mode on
the EP material and are super stoked with the results. Massive.
Some cool news:
Fighting Zero was picked to be 1st alternate to play with Hoobastank
and Velvet Revolver @ the Ford Pavilion, Scranton, PA on 5/13/2005.
Even though we didn't get to play, we know that our buddies in The Drama Club
and Owen's Grudge rocked it up there and just want to extend a "good job
guys" wish to them.

comp at another Puddle of Mudd concert then in Florida. At the Providence,
RI show there was no release due to snow and the street team not being able

Fighting Zero has been put onto
a compilation CD that will be passed out at a Puddle of Mudd Concert.
Date for the concert is this Tuesday, March 16th in Providence, Rhode Island.
We'll be getting a few copies of the discs. They have other original unsigned
bands on them, so be sure to give a listen. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MUSIC,
BABY!!! If you'd like a free copy, sign up

From the starting chapters of the
Fighting Zero novel (available in hard-cover only ;) ), the Thunder Dome
show in Baltimore, MD has been cancelled due to timing issues. No worries
though, we know alot of you were coming out due to all of the response we've
received. All we can say is hang in there, and we will deliver in a big
way. Thank you for all of your love and kind words!!! Once we get
something scheduled, we'll be sure to get to you ASAP!!!!

Here's just a quick update for ya'll...Fighting
Zero has been invited to play at the Thunder Dome in Baltimore, MD on either
March 12th, 13th, or 14th! Pretty exciting news, I'd say! We're working out
the details on times and what day we'd be playing. FZ needs your support! We
need people to make the trek due to A&R being in the crowd. If you and your
friends would like to go, EMAIL US so we can get a headcount on who will be
going. Without the crowd support, we won't be able to make the show, so please

Here are a few updates for
ya'll to sink your teeth into. First thing is first, I've uploaded bunches
of things to look at and listen to in the Media page. I finished recording
(what sounds to me) like the first single off of the album, "Take Me"...I
don't know what it is about that song, but it just has that sort of "single"
feel to it. A clip of "Take Me" has been posted on the Media
page. Click here to be taken there now...
The rest of the album hasn't been written yet, so who knows if that'll be the
single or not. I'm shooting for March to be the release date, depending
on how the recording, mixing, and mastering goes. *fingers crossed*
Second up, I've put in some downloadable wallpapers in the Media section.

Well, the recording has been
going great...I'm mostly working at home, doing lots of recording and writing.
I recently got some new software and it almost looks as though I can produce
and indie release myself. Who knows what will happen. I'm planning
on a no more than 10-song disc. I don't want people to be overwhelmed
by tons of tunes to listen to, and never really hearing the songs, being able
to pick a favorite. Plus, with only 10 songs on the album, there's more
of a surprise element when it comes time for us to play live...well, that's
all for now...Please check back again for more updates!!! Sign
